Charles Edson is an avid hiker and adventure photographer who captures his journeys and experiences while hiking the mountains of the Northeast. Originally from Maryland, Charles moved north to Massachusetts in 2010 to attend college. In the Berkshire Mountains, Charles also fell in love with hiking- a love that would lead him to the tops of mountains throughout the Northeast and across the United States. He’s climbed all of mountains over 4000 feet in elevation in New York, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. Charles has also summited Mount Rainier, the highest mountain in Washington and one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the world. He has his sights on climbing Mount Denali, the highest peak in North America and one of the most prominent peaks on Earth. Charles enjoys the challenge of mountaineering and adventuring in some of nature’s most challenging conditions. When not climbing mountains, he’s enjoys volunteering in the outdoors and giving back to the hiking community. Charles is a corridor monitor for the Massachusetts Section of the Appalachian National Scenic Trail and a volunteer Search and Rescue member. He currently resides in Lee, Massachusetts.
